Easy for contracts

Needed to send out a few legal contracts quickly, and PandaDoc made it super simple. The eSignatures were a breeze for my clients, no complaints there. It just felt really straightforward, which is what I wanted. Definitely made my life easier. I just signed up for the Essentials plan and it handled everything I needed.

Good value with annual plan

I was looking for a cost-effective solution for document automation and landed on PandaDoc. I opted for the annual billing to get the discount, which made the Professional Plan much more affordable. The Content Library was a huge plus for me, saving a ton of time on drafting new documents from scratch. I also used the 14-day free trial, which really helped me decide if it was worth the investment before committing. For the features offered at the annual price, I definitely felt it was a good value for my money compared to some competitors I checked out. Setup was pretty smooth too.

Good for proposals, minor UI issue

I used PandaDoc for creating sales proposals for my small business. The Document Generation feature worked quite well, and the templates saved me a lot of time. Delivery was instant since it's a software service, which is expected. My main gripe is that the UI for custom branding felt a bit clunky to navigate, I had to click around more than I thought I would to get things just right. Overall, it's a solid tool, but there's room for a smoother design experience in some areas.

What's the typical discount if I go for annual billing instead of monthly? Is it worth it?

S Steven P. 1 month ago
You usually save quite a bit, like 25-40% off the monthly price. If you know you'll use it for a year, it's a no-brainer to go annual.

S Sandra Phillips 1 month ago
Definitely worth it if you plan to stick around. The annual discount is substantial. I switched to it after my trial and it made a big difference in cost.

I saw something about a Black Friday deal last year. Do they usually do big sales for that time of year?

D Daniel Miller 1 week ago
They definitely have Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Saw some pretty good discounts around then for new subscriptions. Usually announced closer to the date.

E Emma Turner 1 week ago
Yeah, they totally do. End of Q4 is a big time for them for deals. Keep an eye out late November, you'll probably see something good pop up.

How many users can I get on a basic plan? Need it for a small team, maybe 3-4 people.

P Patricia T. 2 weeks ago
The number of users depends on the plan tier, I think the Essentials plan is usually just one user by default, but you can add more. Business plan probably includes more out of the box.

You might need to bump up to a slightly higher plan or pay for extra users if Essentials doesn't cover everyone. Better check their pricing page directly though.

Thinking of switching from DocuSign. Is PandaDoc genuinely better for creating proposals or just e-signatures?

S Sean P. 3 weeks ago
From my experience, PandaDoc shines for proposals and quotes. DocuSign is more just signatures. PandaDoc lets you build the whole doc, track everything, super handy.

Yeah, if you're doing complex proposals with approvals and stuff, PandaDoc is way more robust. For just signing PDFs, DocuSign is fine but PD adds a lot more sales workflow features.

Can I use this on my phone or tablet? Or is it purely a desktop thing?

O Olivia Campbell 1 month ago
They have a mobile app, so you can definitely access and even sign docs on your phone. Super handy for quick approvals on the go.

I use the mobile app quite a bit for reviewing stuff. It's not as full-featured as the desktop for building documents, but for tracking and signatures, it's perfect.

I'm a non-profit, any chance of getting a discount for that?

J Justin 1 month ago
They do have non-profit discounts! I'd reach out to their sales team directly or look on their site, it's usually mentioned.

Yep, they've got programs for non-profits and even startups. Worth asking about, could save you a decent chunk.

is it safe to use for legal contracts? like, are the e-signatures actually binding?

R Robert P. 3 days ago
Yeah, the e-signatures are legally binding. They meet all the standards, ESIGN Act and everything. It's not just a fancy drawing.

M Mark T. 2 days ago
Definitely. They have audit trails and security stuff too, so you can track who signed what and when. Used it for client contracts, no issues.
